A good salesperson must know how to listen to people effectively. A good salesperson must also know how to read the body language of the customer and adapt himself to the unique situation so the customer would develop confidence in him or her and transfer the confidence to the product or service.

In chapters’ three to five, the author notionally X-rays the selling process, the principles of want, need and demand; and P's of marketing.

Chapter six is entitled Branding and Positioning. According to the author, you cannot appeal to everybody. Strong brands attract, and weak brands repel people. Your target audience should be clearly profiled and defined. You should focus your marketing effort towards your target market to achieve maximum result.
